Tong Chu did something to Jiang Cong that she regrets.
That summer, the widely envied young master Jiang suffered a crushing setback. The person responsible fled far away. After a brief period of gloom, he went back to enjoying himself, and everything returned to normal, except that he wouldn't let anyone around him talk about Tong Chu.
For years, Tong Chu lived in a city far from Jiang Cong. She thought he hated her and wouldn't want to see her.
But when they met again, things turned out to be increasingly different from what she had expected.
