The Descent of the Gods

"The savior should just do their duty and save the world!"

In Deng Ying's dreams, it seems there is always a voice whispering these words in her ear, waking her from sleep again and again. She eventually gets used to her dream-self's arrogance and conceit. After all, being a savior is just something to fantasize about in a dream.

Until she meets a strange woman, impossibly beautiful and completely out of place in this world...

Planar invasions, a System for everyone, planetary fusion, wars between races...

To Deng Ying, none of it feels strange or unbelievable. It's as if she was always meant to be in control of it all.
