Gongliang Yu is a newly risen powerhouse and a third-year student at the Jujutsu High School. He is classmates with Iori Utahime and Mei Mei.

Later, when Gongliang Yu was gravely injured and retired for his sake, Gojo's heart was lost to him for good.
