Ye Yun'an was so enraged by a novel that it nearly gave him a heart attack.
Its protagonist, Qin Qingze, was the foremost immortal of the celestial race. He sacrificed himself to the demons, taking countless resentful spirits upon himself in exchange.
Yet in less than a hundred years, the immortals had forgotten his achievements.
Bound in chains, he was imprisoned beneath the abyss.
Resentment and curses.
He was no longer the glory of the celestial race, but a disgrace they wanted to cast away.
Ye Yun'an furiously wrote thousands of words in his sleep. When he opened his eyes again, he had become a little cat demon in the book.
This time, he planned to raise an injured human.
But how do you raise a person?
First, improve their living conditions.
Second, make sure they have plenty of food and drink.
Third, kitty will bring you all his favorite things!
Qin Qingze was an immortal everyone despised. The abyss was dark and silent, but one day, it seemed to change.
At first, glittering fragments of stone fell from the sky, lighting up the abyss.
Later, immortal wine and spirit food appeared on the table at mealtimes.
Strange things even started showing up on his bed.
But if he wasn't mistaken, those glittering stones were top-grade spirit stones from the immortal realm, and that immortal wine was brewed only once every ten thousand years.
As for the things on his bed, even he couldn't identify them, but he could tell they were incredibly rare. This was ridiculous.
Later, a palm-sized kitten came stumbling toward him.
Qin Qingze waited for him to leave, but instead heard a soft, sweet voice.
"Can I snuggle up to you?"
