I've had three boyfriends:
The first was my mixed-race neighbor, with black hair and green eyes. He was the first person I ever fell for. Just as I was getting swept up in our flirtation, he disappeared without even saying goodbye. That night, he had no idea I was silently standing on the terrace, watching him leave with a bag in his hand.
My second boyfriend was Morofushi Hiromitsu, who could play bass. He was genuinely kind and sincere, but I didn't truly love him. Just as I was feeling guilty and preparing to break up with him, he gently took the initiative and ended things first. I was so shocked that I agreed without thinking. After that, I no longer felt guilty.
The third was a blond, dark-skinned guy I met on a mission. I knew he wasn't simple and that he was after the information I had, but was I, a codename-holding member of a transnational criminal organization (or so it seemed), supposed to be afraid? We smoothly became a couple.
That day, after one romantic setback after another, I texted Gin: "I have a new boyfriend. Picture.jpg"
Gin didn't reply.
The next day, I found out why. We met during an organization mission. Amuro Tooru was awkward and silent, while I kept a blank expression. After we got back, I took the initiative and texted him to break up.
Then even more shocking things happened one after another: not only did I see my first boyfriend in the organization, I also discovered he'd fallen for someone else (not really).
By comparison, seeing Morofushi Hiromitsu, who had entered the organization under the alias Midorikawa Hikaru, wasn't all that... Wait, no!
What on earth is going on? Why are all my ex-boyfriends my coworkers?!
Reader's Guide:
1. The heroine is an undercover agent sent by ICPO (the International Criminal Police Organization), and she's on the good guys' side.
2. The pairing is with Shuichi. Shuichi and Akemi's backstory has been removed, and the Shuichi and Jodie pairing is broken up. The heroine truly loves only Akai.
3. Only Hiromitsu will be saved. There's no way to save the others.
4. A trashy (?) heroine x a scumbag (?) Shuichi Akai. A sweet story with no angst, so read without worry.
