Moonlight Shines on You

- A warm little ray of sunshine, worthy of the world × a cold, cruel, unloved little thing

- A childhood healing story about saving each other

Shi'er is a young Taoist nun at Guanyun Temple. Her greatest dream is to save enough money to go to the capital and find her birth parents.

Every day, she follows her master in reciting sutras, drawing talismans, reading hexagrams, and telling fortunes.

Her master loves money more than life and pinches every penny, refusing to give her any extra.

To save enough for the trip to the capital as soon as possible, Shi'er has no choice but to gather medicinal herbs and sell them.

One day, she went out without checking the almanac and found a boy in the mountains behind the temple, barely alive.

Thinking that it was always good to do a kind deed, she took him back and spent all her savings on his treatment.

Fortunately, the boy was good-tempered and hardworking. Once he recovered, he followed her around and helped her every day. He also promised to accompany her to the capital.

Shi'er worked even harder to earn money. Once she'd saved enough, they would go to the capital together!

From heir to the throne to deposed crown prince, Lan Yan's youth was engulfed in endless bloodshed and war. He was manipulated, despised, and exiled.

Even on the road to exile, people still wanted him dead.

Lan Yan thought that no one in this life cared about him. But when he was close to death, a young Taoist nun found him and took him in.

The young nun brought him back to the temple and found a doctor to treat him. In his delirium, he heard her say to the doctor, "Please save him. I have money. I'll give you all of it."

Lan Yan didn't like owing anyone anything, so he swore to repay the young nun.

But as time went on, he owed her more and more, until he couldn't even count it all.

So even when he was in the depths of an abyss, he would swallow his tears and blood, climb up from the bottom of the cliff, and use his broken body to protect her.
