A Chu was saved by a physician from the Northern Rong. She couldn't read the prescription written in Rong language, so the pharmacy clerk who spoke Rong translated it for her:
"The Yama who slaughtered his way through all twelve cities of Northern Rong actually knelt before me in desperation, begging me to save the dying girl in his arms. He said he wasn't asking you to forgive him. He only wanted to trade all the merit he'd earned in this lifetime for your return to life."
Theme: Life is too bitter. The only way through is to save yourself.
