Qing Zhan Occupies My Heart

"Qing Xu, nineteen, a sophomore in college. He's an honest guy, but you'd better not mess with him." "Why not?" "Because when he snaps... he'll even kill his own parents!" That's how the neighbors describe Qing Xu. Qing Xu doesn't know whether he's ever killed his parents. He only knows that his file contains no criminal record. He hasn't decided for himself whether he's an honest guy either, but one thing they got right. An orphan, Qing Xu started working in high school. Barbell was one of the three biggest gay bars in Huacheng, and its employees were paid well. Qing Xu had worked there as a bartender for several years. Since he was good-looking and quiet, customers often flirted with him. Qing Xu wouldn't respond to their teasing or take it to heart. The regulars knew what he was like, so a little joking was all it took. But there were always some people who refused to take the hint and insisted on courting disaster. One day, a burly gay man shoved Qing Xu down onto a private-room sofa. After saying, "I like you," he leaned toward him, reeking of alcohol, trying to kiss him. Qing Xu was fed up and drove a foot straight into the man's crotch. At the same time, another man stormed into the room, grabbed the burly guy with one hand, and tossed him onto the coffee table. "Are you all right?" The private room was dim. Qing Xu saw only a pair of dark eyes and a long, slender hand reaching toward him. As if possessed, he took it. He had no idea that after that one handshake, he wouldn't be able to shake the man off. Summer. "Qing Xu, Mr. Cen is here with flowers for you again." Autumn. "Qing Xu, Mr. Cen is waiting outside for you to finish work again." Winter. "Qing Xu, Mr. Cen made you some stomach-warming soup again." Qing Xu had never felt desire for men or women. His classmates, colleagues, and customers all said there was something wrong with him. But maybe life with nothing to his name had become too dull, because after hearing the other man call him "baby" again and again, he suddenly wanted to have something of his own. But then the man started playing hide-and-seek with him, or, more accurately, playing at being a stalker. Qing Xu: ...? Cen Buyu, twenty-seven, CEO of a publicly traded real estate company. He came out to his parents as a teenager and wanted to find a homebody of a guy to marry. One day, a business partner invited him to a gay bar to discuss work, hoping to appeal to his tastes. Cen Buyu wasn't into that sort of thing. Distracted, he bumped into someone in the hallway. He was about to apologize when he looked up and met a pair of reddish-brown eyes. In that moment, he heard his heart thump hard. I want to carry him home and lock him up!! No, wait, put him on a pedestal!!! When CEO Cen pursues someone, he spares no expense: flowers, watches, cars, houses, even himself... But one day, he heard the other man say, "I don't like men. They're disgusting." Thinking they were the same kind of person, Cen Buyu was heartbroken. After moping for a while, he decided he wouldn't bother the other man anymore, yeah, right! No one would ever guess that the well-mannered Mr. Cen acted like a sneaky stalker behind closed doors. Watching the man he liked go out with a female friend, Cen Buyu was torn apart inside even as he tried to figure out how to tie him up and take him home. He thought he'd hidden it well, but the man had already caught on. Perhaps unable to watch any longer, the young man grabbed him by the collar at a corner, his face terrifyingly dark. "Try hiding from me one more time."
