I casually fixed the bangs over my forehead and looked at myself in the mirror with satisfaction. Picking up the veil from the side, I opened the door and walked out.
The bustling traffic and unfamiliar surroundings outside left me frozen in place. When my eyes happened to fall on the five familiar-looking buildings not far away, the hand gripping the doorknob began to tremble.
Mom, since when does our front door lead to another world? Don't worry about making dinner for me tonight...

"Hmph, a puppet dares to think it can have a heart just like a human? Pathetic."
The guy in front of me, dressed like he had a terminal case of chuunibyou, sneered at me. I kept a straight face and punched him to the ground.
Ara ara, I'm just a puppet. What harm could I possibly mean?
I grinned, taunting him as I hid behind my mature-looking assistant, enjoying the sight of him fuming with frustration and helplessness.

When faced with the kindhearted police officer who kept trying to convince me to study, I flatly refused.
"You little punk, study properly and quit doing all that nonsense!"
The hot-tempered cop in sunglasses whacked me on the head with a knuckle. It didn't hurt, but I pretended it did. Watching him shake his hand in pain and question his life choices made me laugh.
I wisely took the opportunity to slip away.
Stupid cop, who wants to go to school? I've already gone through nine years of compulsory education once. I'm not doing it again!

After accepting a job from the scumbag boss, I pulled yet another all-nighter. I was just about to finish negotiating a deal with my business partner when...
A loud crash came from the air. From my spot in the skyscraper, I watched helplessly as someone smashed through the thick, bulletproof floor-to-ceiling window in front of me. A figure leapt inside, and my business partner instantly turned into a pile of pixels.
"Yo! Are you scared stiff now that you've met me?"
Hearing his arrogant words, and thinking of the job I'd just watched go down the drain, I trembled with rage.
Without hesitation, I lifted my right leg and kicked the bastard standing by the window out of it.
4.
"The useless should be discarded."
Those were the only words I remembered from the moment before I was sealed away and fell into a deep sleep.
I didn't understand why, but all I wanted was to grab the corner of her clothes and tell her not to abandon me.
The body I got after transmigrating didn't belong to me. The instant I opened my eyes, I became "it," trapped in this elegant pavilion as "it," unable to move. The unchanging scenery gradually wore me down, and the hollow space in my chest left me at a loss.
A tremendous crash came from the main gate, and the entire space began to shake. I blinked, and when I opened my eyes again, I'd transmigrated once more.
So... is being abandoned what awaits me next, too?
[It's a classic, cliched cosplay transmigration story, and the characters may be out of character. My own take on the setting. I'll do my best to stay true to the characters and try writing in first person.]
