Jiang Qijing and Zhuang Zhen were both born and raised in Xinbin City, and had grown up together.
Their parents were such close friends they were practically like one family. So, while they were still pregnant, the parents arranged a marriage for their children. When both babies turned out to be boys, they decided the two would become sworn brothers instead. Each set of parents treated the other's son like their own. It started as an offhand joke, but after that, they always called the boys childhood friends.
In Zhuang Zhen's eyes, Jiang Qijing was a little tagalong. Zhuang Zhen had been born five minutes earlier, so from then on, his little tagalong was always calling him "Big Brother."
