Perhaps I've grown foolish and antiquated. After coming down with COVID, I forgot so, so much, including many things from middle school. I've even nearly forgotten things I only learned in high school. So, using the diary I kept in middle school, I'll slowly search for those fragmentary memories of the past, entering the dreams of years ago as I listen to the wind, the rain, and the sound of books being read.
