The Street Office is responsible for clearing drains, keeping the streets clean, managing traffic and markets, and even maintaining public order when necessary. It serves as the public face of the Yuanwu Dynasty and the capital city of Bianjing. But because it's so close to everyday life, the Street Office's routine patrols encounter an endless stream of disputes and noisy quarrels.
The constant trouble leaves Jiguang and the soldiers utterly exhausted.
Then one day, a woman known as Madam Liang, who can mediate disputes and answer people's questions, is assigned to the Street Office by the Waterways Bureau. At last, the soldiers can enjoy some peace, and even look forward to going to work.
The only one who isn't pleased is Jiguang, whose thunder has been stolen. Watching Liang Manchan handle things with crisp efficiency, he privately decides to compete with her...
But Liang Manchan is completely innocent. It's not as if she wants to steal anyone's thunder.
She works so hard because ever since she arrived in this unfamiliar world a month ago, transmigrating into the body of an orphan with no one to rely on, she hasn't had a proper meal.
All she really, really wants is to eat!

A few notes:
The leads are each other's first and only, happy ending, fictional setting!
A lighthearted, silly comedy made up mostly of the little details of everyday life in the neighborhood, with the characters mediating family conflicts, neighborhood issues, and business disputes. The whole point is to help people live happily and peacefully. P.S. Women can hold government posts and serve as officials in this story. The heroine was raised by her grandmother and has been warmhearted since childhood.
Please discuss rationally and read respectfully. Hope you enjoy!
