"Unity of man and nature" originates from the ancient Zhuangzi's thought that "heaven and earth and I coexist, and all things and I are one". It is the basic attitude of ancient China towards the relationship between man and nature. "Unity of nature and man" represents the ancient simple dialectical view of nature, which refers to the normal relationship between heaven and man, man and nature that maintains stability, peace, harmony and beauty, that is, the community relationship of the unity of nature and man. This article combines the idea of "harmony between nature and man" with ecological harmony, and analyzes the case of Huangyu in Qinghai Lake to illustrate that in today's comprehensive construction of socialist ecological harmony, the idea of "harmony between nature and man" still has positive guiding significance for the contemporary development of China.
