The Evening Star Is Yours

Creative Oil Painter × Cloisonné Enamel Painting Inheritor

1.

One day, a trending post appeared on the South University forum: #Oil Painting Major Song Wanxing and Jiang Zhili Are Together#.

Jiang Zhili looked gentle, but there was distance in his eyes and brows. In truth, he was like a snowflake from a shattered jade mountain, keeping everyone at arm's length.

2.

They say that people who watch the first snowfall together will grow old together.

“Song Wanxing, my enamel can only melt your colors.”

But the girl suddenly disappeared without a word.

The starry-sky plate was no longer whole, and the enamel artist's moonlight had lost its warmth.

3.

At the time, one was an inheritor of the intangible cultural heritage of cloisonné enamel painting, and the other was a rising international creative oil painter.

By chance, the two had to work together to apply the blue enamel to a cloisonné painting. Song Wanxing thought that someone would rather never see her again for the rest of his life.

Who could have guessed that late one night, the usually aloof man would get drunk and look at her with a dark expression, his eyes damp with clinging tenderness. He buried his face in the crook of her neck, his voice low and hoarse.

Song Wanxing said resentfully, “Jiang Zhili, you're a dog.”

“Yes. I'm in love with you.”

You gave me the starry sky.

I give you the evening star.

Together, let us fulfill this promise beneath the stars and moon.
