Fang Yun was the kind of kid who'd always been a little slow on the uptake, yet somehow got into a prestigious university through the college entrance exam.
He was standing by the building, grinning as the happy news he'd sent was still on the screen. Smack! He was gone!
The price of waking up was just a tiny bit too high
After a few wobbly steps, the warm breeze sent ripples across the clear lake, reflecting a fluffy, round-headed calico kitten.
Fang Yun fell backward in fright. "Meow!"
D University freshmen arrive on campus. The most talked-about room in the dorms is Room 307 in Building 5, home to three campus heartthrobs.
Roommate One: A cold, aloof finance major who hates weak, fragile things and is allergic to cat fur.
Roommate Two: A rich kid who got in through family connections. Less than a week into the semester, he started commuting in a Maybach every day. He looks down on everyone, loves to sneer, and compliments people as if delivering death sentences.
Roommate Three: A dark-skinned athlete who can punch a sandbag to pieces. He's so intimidating that no one knows his type is petite-and-tall pairings. His lifelong dream is to find a soft, fragrant, petite girlfriend.
One day, Roommate Three sneakily drew his bed curtain shut. Roommate One, in the bed across from him, ended up coughing his way to the emergency room that night. While sick, he drafted a dorm rule: Report an illegally kept cat and earn ten credits.
But Room 307 later on: hiding from everyone during the day, fighting and cuddling a cat at night!
Even with a bruised and swollen face, he still went to class wearing a blissful smile, leaving everyone curious.
Three months later, Fang Yun woke up in the dorm and instinctively stretched out his foot to rub his face, cooing, "Meow?"
But when he turned his head, he saw in the mirror a naked beauty with red lips, white teeth, and round, bright eyes.
Fang Yun wasn't used to college life as a human again. After all, the top university was just too competitive and exhausting. Being a cat was much more carefree. Still, at least his roommates hadn't discovered his secret.
Classmates: We beg to differ :)
From then on, the dorm forum was full of a popular daily post: We've been so wrong, everyone. Turns out those three are all cat... slaves!
At some point, his secret identity began to teeter on the brink of exposure.
Cornered by the overwhelmingly domineering presence of a man, Fang Yun was so startled that his fur stood on end. A tingling sensation climbed up his tailbone, and he hugged his knees, curling up the lower half of his tail.
["I'm really not from your dorm, meow!!!"]

P.S. 1. I'll decide whether to open a stock market once I start writing. The ending will be one-on-one.
2. The bottom returns to his own body.
3. He's a very rare male calico cat!
