[Gin-centric, no pairing. The title is based on a story prompt.]

Twenty-year-old Gin was completely bewildered.

During a mission to hunt down an undercover agent, he was extremely unlucky and got buried.

The good news: He got out.

The bad news: He was given a drug that was supposedly highly lethal.

As for why he was still alive...

Gin looked at the absurdly oversized black trench coat on his body and his small hands, his expression grave.

He had shrunk to the size of a seven-year-old.

So Vermouth grabbed him by the scruff of his neck, dragged him to America, and turned him into a proud elementary school student.

Vermouth: Gin, little kids have to go to school, you know

Gin: ...

Less than a month after he started school, a new classmate joined his class.

Black hair, green eyes, pale skin, and an unmistakably familiar FBI vibe.

Shuichi Akai in a seven-year-old body: Hi.

Gin: Get lost.
