The Manga Won’t Show Me Unless I Play Volleyball

[Third-person narration] So, on the day Oikawa and I got together, I bought a manga. My boyfriend really, really loved volleyball, and I loved how handsome he looked when he played. At first, I meant to read it as an ordinary manga, but familiar people started appearing one after another, especially my boyfriend, Oikawa. The plot really did happen in real life, just as expected. And there was one more important thing: whenever my boyfriend appeared in a manga panel, I had to wait until the scene was over before I could be by his side. Since I don't play volleyball, I don't get any panels, so I can... No, okay, I guess I can understand that. When the manga reached the little scene where Oikawa gets dumped by his girlfriend, I slowly narrowed my eyes and recited the line. "Didn't you say you'd been dumped by your girlfriend and had a lot of free time lately?" So... I was going to dump Oikawa? I glanced at my boyfriend, who was sitting beside me and watching a replay of the match intently, and shook my head. No way! But the plot still wanted me to push things forward?! Otherwise, something terrible would happen. "Oikawa, I... I want to break up." Suzuhara Reiko lowered her head and announced the end of their relationship. The boy, who had been lounging around, immediately opened his eyes wide. He craned his neck, trying to see the girl's expression, and pretended he hadn't heard her. He tried to keep his voice calm. "Reiko, what are you saying?" "I said... let's break up!" Suzuhara Reiko still kept her head down, and there seemed to be a hint of a sob in her voice. "Huh?!" "D-don't cry!" He panicked and said, "Fine, I agree." The girl's crying stopped. She wiped at the nonexistent tears in the corners of her eyes. "You can only tell people that I dumped you!" "Th-then when can we get back together?" "When you make a face at Kageyama and call him an idiot." Watching her run away, the boy looked utterly confused and hurt. "???" OOC warning: childish, schoolkid-style romance. Everyday-life focus, with some matches. The heroine gets a mysterious "original manga." In this story, Aoba Johsai makes it to the national tournament at the Interhigh, while the Spring High storyline stays true to the original. Since you're here, give the story a try and add it to your favorites. That's not too much to ask, right? (Puppy eyes) Theme: Liking someone is a personal matter
