My Husband Brought Home a Transmigrated Woman

In the fifteenth year of our marriage, my husband returned from Jiangnan, where he had gone to control the floods, with a woman who had transmigrated.

She wanted to be the only woman in my husband's life, mocked me for being old and past my prime, and taunted me, saying that the one who isn't loved is the third party.

Everyone thought I would make a scene.

I calmly looked at my three children, all over ten years old, and smiled at her. "I won't divorce him. You can be a concubine. Do you want to?"

The transmigrated woman turned pale and immediately scolded me. "You ancient people are so feudal! What's so good about an arranged marriage like this? If your husband doesn't love you, why are you staying with him?"

"What kind of feudal first wife are you? The one who isn't loved is the third party. Hurry up and divorce him so we can be together. I won't be a concubine. I'd rather die!"

She shouted things I couldn't understand, but I could still hear the contempt and disdain in her voice.

(P.S. Old-fashioned melodrama. There are no absolutely good or absolutely bad people.)
