[Reborn!] (YamaGoku) Soul-Calming Sword

Yamamoto Takeshi sheathed his long sword. "You're Sawada Tsunayoshi?"

Hearing the swordsman's question, Sawada Tsunayoshi gave a bitter smile, as though he'd accepted his fate. "I am."

"Why did you kill someone?"

Yamamoto Takeshi looked him over carefully, surprised. The man didn't look like a murderer.

Some people didn't need a reason to kill. People killed for money or fame all the time.

But Sawada Tsunayoshi looked Yamamoto Takeshi straight in the eye.

"I didn't kill anyone! Someone's framing me!"

There was no need for a reason to kill, nor was there any need for a reason not to.

Yamamoto Takeshi studied Sawada Tsunayoshi for a long time.

At last, he said, "Go."

"Why?"

"You say you didn't kill anyone. I believe you."

"People who dare to kill don't have eyes like yours!"

"Go. Just don't let me catch you again."

Sawada Tsunayoshi never imagined he would have such a bizarre experience: framed for murder and forced to flee.

Yamamoto Takeshi never imagined that after letting Sawada Tsunayoshi go, he would meet him again. Only this time, Yamamoto would never leave his side again.
