Love you all~] [I'm participating in a writing contest~ Please send this little angel some nutrition drinks] [1] One day, a female detective transferred to the Beihai Criminal Investigation Team. Rumor had it that she had excelled at police academy, and after graduation, she joined the criminal investigation team and became a renowned star detective in her hometown. Unfortunately, all those accolades belonged to the past. Now, she had amnesia. On the talent-packed Beihai Criminal Investigation Team, she had forgotten everything. She ranked last in physical fitness and theory, and knew nothing at all about even the most basic investigative techniques. She was the team's undisputed mascot, a useless pretty face and deadweight. To make herself useful on the criminal investigation team, Lin Anyu, who had "no investigative experience whatsoever," was routinely assigned by her captain to the public security bureau to look for missing kittens, or to the urban management bureau to investigate unlicensed street vendors. When the traffic police were short-staffed, she would occasionally be sent to direct traffic, too. Three years later, there wasn't a single public security department in Beihai that didn't know her. [2] Later, Lin Anyu had a run of bad luck. While out shopping, two robbers recognized her and kidnapped her. Using her phone, they made a video call to the Beihai Criminal Investigation Team and demanded to exchange Lin Anyu for their boss, who had been sentenced to death with a two-year reprieve. On one side were their colleagues, on the verge of being killed by the kidnappers. On the other was a serial killer they'd spent a year trying to catch, and had finally brought in. For a while, the entire criminal investigation team was in chaos. Just as they were looking for the best way to rescue her, they saw Lin Anyu on the livestream, her hands still bound. She swung a left kick and sent the robber beside her crashing to the ground. Then, in less than five minutes, both robbers were down... Everyone watching the livestream was left speechless: ????? Was this really the most useless nepo hire on their team? And... the ropes binding your hands are still on. [3] Lin Anyu never could have imagined that all she had to do was take part in a television interview. Yet less than a week later, a group of nationally renowned experts had joined the Beihai Criminal Investigation Team. A top forensic artist who could accurately sketch a suspect from blurry footage; a sniper who could take down a killer with a toy gun from a kilometer away; the person widely recognized as the country's foremost forensic pathologist; a criminal profiler whose lectures had been given at major criminal investigation teams all across the country... With all these experts gathered at the Beihai Criminal Investigation Team, everyone from the police bureau's leaders to ordinary detectives wished they could lavish praise on them every single day. But, as it happened, they were only interested in Lin Anyu, who couldn't remember a thing. The famous criminal profiler made her coffee. The country's top forensic artist brought her flowers. The sharpshooter who never missed brought her takeout... Lin Anyu, the Beihai Criminal Investigation Team's best-known "nepo hire": Wait, do we know each other? Qiqi's little heads-up: 1. This is a light, logic-free story. 2. The heroine plays the pig to eat the tiger. It is a case-by-case story, with little focus on puzzle-solving and deduction, and more on the plot. 3. Before losing her memory, the heroine had someone she loved from afar. He is not the male lead. 4. My dears, this is a fictional setting! A lot of plot points include elements that don't fit reality, for the sake of the story. Please don't compare it to real life.
