After a Little Mermaid Is Transported to a Matriarchal World

Yu Xingxing is a male mermaid. Because of his delicate body, pretty looks, and adorably silly nature, his strength-worshipping kin despise and shun him.

With tears in his eyes, Yu Xingxing can only accept that he may spend his whole life as a lonely fish.

Then one day, Yu Xingxing discovers that all his people have vanished, and anxiously searches everywhere for them.

At last, when he surfaces, he sees three moons overhead. Yu Xingxing is utterly bewildered. He remembers... doesn't the moon usually come alone?

Completely unfamiliar with this new world and utterly unable to fend for himself, Yu Xingxing decides that desperate times call for desperate measures. To keep from starving, he goes ashore to steal some seafood that humans have set out to dry.

Naturally, he gets caught red-handed.

Yu Xingxing gazes pitifully at the tall, handsome fisherwoman before him. "I-I was just hungry. I swear, once I get stronger, I'll pay you back with a hundred fish! No, a thousand!" He's always been this useless and has never improved, but a mermaid has to have dreams :D

Yu Xingxing has always heard that women on land are softhearted, so he's certain his fragile appearance will win her over!

At that moment, the former Imperial Marshal Su Xishuang, whose mental domain has collapsed and who has been forced to "vacation" at a farm on a junk planet, gives Yu Xingxing a leisurely once-over.

Oh, a little mermaid.

With little time left to live and nothing better to do, Su Xishuang's lips curl into a smile. "All right. And what's more, I can take care of you."

Yu Xingxing is so moved that tears fill his eyes. Just as expected, women on land are softhearted and easy to fool. The ancestors never lied to me.

Much later, when Yu Xingxing finally realizes that he has landed in a matriarchal world: :)

In the year 2546 of the Old Era, Earth suffered a cataclysm, and human men lost the ability to reproduce entirely.

To ensure humanity's survival, scientists combined human male genes with those of male mermaids, who had a high reproductive capacity. In the end, they transformed human men into artificial mermaids capable of bearing children.

It is now the year 6524 of the New Era, and naturally born male mermaids have been extinct for over ten thousand years.
