Satoru Gojo has been following a manga for years. His interest has gone from "Let me see the thousand and eight ways to murder" to "Let's see how much more they can drag this plot out" and "When will this first-grader, who's been at it for twenty years, finally get to second grade?" The manga is called Detective Conan.
Then one day, as Satoru Gojo happily slacks off in a dessert shop, eating sweets and reading the latest chapter, he suddenly spots a little boy in a suit and glasses with blue eyes entering the shop, a purple-eyed girl with hair on the right side that looks a bit like a horn, and a green-eyed girl with a headband beside her. Behind them, it looks like someone is in the middle of a poisoning attempt.
Looking at the manga in his hands, Satoru Gojo rubs his chin, intrigued.
Conan Edogawa's favorite authors are Conan Doyle and Edogawa Ranpo, so he strongly dislikes the hugely popular manga Bungo Stray Dogs. But despite protesting, he keeps following it, hoping that one day he'll gain the ability to see through the truth at a glance, like Edogawa Ranpo in Bungo Stray Dogs. He's working hard toward that goal.
Then one day, when he arrives in Yokohama and comes across a case that's already happened, intending to solve it, he sees the Yokohama police greet a young man who's 168 centimeters tall, wearing a detective's outfit and squinting.
Conan Edogawa: ...
Looking into those green eyes that seem to see through everything, Conan decides to go up and act cute to ask for an autograph. Even if it's just a fan interpretation, he's still one of his favorite authors!
Osamu Dazai has recently been reading a hugely popular manga. Don't get the wrong idea, he wants to see just how nauseating this manga called Jujutsu Kaisen can be. Everyone's a brainless slug, searching for the meaning of life, dying with regrets, and curses born from humans. Every single premise disgusts him.
Then one day, disgusted yet again by the latest chapter, Osamu Dazai decides to jump into the water to cool off. When he climbs back onto the bank, he sees a long-haired man in a Gojo-style monk's robe approaching in the distance.
Seeing those stitches, Osamu Dazai curls his lips and softly murmurs, "Oh my~"
Fate turns on this day. Is it a blessing or a nightmare? Those who wish to bring their bonds back to life begin competing in this chaotic space!
Read with caution:
1. Ignore the last sentence for now. The setting is the one described above; this is just a premise I've really wanted to write. The story is infinite flow, and they'll act out scenes to fool the on-screen commenters, gain popularity, and trade it for resurrection cards.
2. If I can't pull it off, I might not make it my next book, but I really want to write it. However, the antagonists from all three manga definitely won't be treated kindly, so read at your own risk if that bothers you.
3. That's all for now, since this is only an idea OTL.
