The Days I Went Back to Earth for a Visit

While I was recuperating at home, my mom suddenly asked if I wanted to spend some time in the hometown she used to live in.

She started counting up her assets back home, and by the time she finished, her only "asset" was a cousin.

That's how I ended up being shipped off to Gotham.

So here's the question: how am I supposed to live in Uncle Bruce's house, where everyone is completely ordinary?

The female lead is only half human. First-person narration. For various reasons, she's extremely confused and in denial during the early part of the story.

Everyone is out of character, and there are a huge number of original headcanons. Feel free to read it as an original story.

The mother of the female lead's mother and Bruce's father were siblings. I can't figure out whether that makes them second cousins on the maternal or paternal side, so I'm just calling them cousins. The female lead calls Bruce Uncle. Her entire family consists of original characters.

I wanted to write a comedy to relax, because I want to see the Batfamily and the three Asgardian siblings getting along. The three Asgardian siblings getting along means Asgard has been heavily rewritten, with the modification slider turned all the way up. I want to write all kinds of tropes I like.

There really are so, so, so many headcanons, to the point where barely anything from the original remains.

But I'm having a blast writing it. I have a great time making fun of things.
