Yu Tingxue is a mermaid. Thanks to his good looks, he managed to break into the human entertainment industry, where he spent years as an unknown actor with no ambition whatsoever, caring only about eating, drinking, and having fun.
That is, until his heat arrived. Yu Tingxue carefully selected the perfect solution.
1. The other man is tall and long-legged, strong and handsome, and no less impressive in appearance than a mermaid. A perfect score for looks.
2. He's cold and heartless, a confirmed bachelor with no interest in dating or marriage. They can part ways as soon as they're done. No need to worry about emotional entanglements afterward.
3. He's a human male. Human books say different species can't reproduce, and Yu Tingxue is a male mermaid too. Double insurance, so there's no need to worry about getting pregnant.
Absolutely perfect.
He Wen Sen is a famous oddball in the industry, aloof and severe, worth over a hundred million, and nearly thirty, yet chaste as a monk. To deal with his family's pressure to marry, he hires a boy to pretend to be his boyfriend, comes out in public, and puts an end to his family's hopes.
The boy is sweet and adorable, thoughtful and attentive, and calls him "hubby" so sweetly. Once, he even risked his life to save He Wen Sen. Everyone, including He Wen Sen himself, is almost convinced that the boy loves him deeply. He even starts thinking it wouldn't be so bad to keep things this way forever. Then the other man disappears without a word.
Months later, Yu Tingxue's name is all over the internet.
Yu Tingxue had thought he could keep coasting as an unknown actor, and never expected to become a sensation. Even less did he expect that he would actually be pregnant!
So much for different species being unable to reproduce!
