At a cemetery, a silver-haired man with curly hair held out his hand to a pale, malnourished girl. "I'm Gin. I've opened a jack-of-all-trades shop. Since we used to scrounge for food here together, want to come with me?"
The girl took his hand.
A strange man wrapped in bandages asked Hinata Tobae, "Ah... beautiful lady, would you be willing to join me on the far shore of life?"
A certain pink-haired, lollipop-loving guy heard the girl's thoughts and immediately decided she was trouble, so he resolved to stay away from her. But the next day, the girl wrote a book about people with supernatural powers.
The lollipop guy was shocked?!!!
A certain white-shirted spider boss found the contents of the girl's book cut straight to the soul, and began discussing philosophy with Hinata Tobae.
A certain death-obsessed elementary schooler sensed that there was more to the girl than met the eye. He acted cute and put on a childish act to get close to Hinata Tobae, only to discover she was his favorite author outside of detective fiction.
A certain patchwork cursed spirit found the girl's soul unusual, forcing Hinata Tobae to spend her days running for her life and avoiding being modified.
Hinata Tobae. That's my name.
I chose it for myself. I hope to become a flying eagle soaring toward the sun.
The Painter's Pen:
Her mutilated limbs were surrounded by vivid red flowers. She was still smiling beneath the warm golden light. How wonderful. I can finally paint what she looks like.
Blood Ties:
I was the one who turned her from a girl into a woman. I'll never forget the moment she blossomed beneath me. I watched tears roll down her cheek. It really is the bond of blood. Tears streamed down my face too.
Nocturne of the Night's Revels:
I didn't commit any great crime. I just loved him too much, so I placed a curse on him. The way he swung his twin blades was so beautiful. I was so happy to die by his hand.
