I'm a Couch Potato, but My Wife Is a Movie Emperor

Liu Yu was a famously laid-back beauty in high society, until he suddenly discovered that he was the fake young master who'd been switched at birth in a novel, doomed to be ground to dust in a miserable ending.

As luck would have it, a variety show director came knocking. "We've got an unstoppable workaholic. We need you to go and fix him."

Liu Yu: ...?

On the day of the opening ceremony, Liu Yu casually ran his fingers through his hair and showed up.

He identified the director's workaholic just by looking.

The buttons on his white shirt were fastened all the way to the top. His hair was parted six-four, as if precisely calculated. He wore cologne on his wrists and behind his ears. His phoenix eyes radiated a cool aloofness that kept everyone at a distance.

Liu Yu: What a poser.

Filming began.

Xie Huaiguai kept up his aloof persona, while Liu Yu became the show's resident attention-grabber.

He slept until he woke naturally before even considering going to the set.

He never listened when tasks were assigned.

He couldn't remember winning an art competition...

Everyone was sure Xie Huaiguai must dislike him.

But Xie Huaiguai quietly made all his meals and gently soothed him when he couldn't sleep.

They embraced again and again in corners where no one could see.

The hashtag #LiuYu XieHuaiguai Kissed# topped the trending searches.

In a video leaked by paparazzi, the pink-haired young man pressed the movie star against a wall. His eyes were slightly red, making it hard to tell who was bullying whom.

[The workaholic and the laid-back one! This is the official show forcing me to ship them, and it's actually real!?!!]

[No way, a snow lotus would fall in love with a mere mortal? But they're so good together. I'm watching that video again!]

Xie Huaiguai, who had never posted on Weibo since joining, suddenly appeared at the top of the trending list with a short, to-the-point post:

@XieHuaiguaiV: I have profaned a deity.

Theme: The young have ambition, and their time to shine will come.
