The Eldest Senior Sister Is Missing the Virtue Element

Yu Xi wakes up to discover that she's living inside a book.

The junior sister who insists on eloping with the Demon Venerable is the heroine, while she's the cannon-fodder senior sister who gets in the way of the protagonists' romance.

The senior sister is a good person, kind and strong, always looking out for the weak.

She finds spiritual fruit for her sinister, selfish second junior brother, only to end up covered in wounds and treated as if it were her duty.

She patiently teaches her lazy, unruly third junior brother, only for him to grow up and despise her for being too dull and unfit to show her face in public.

She seeks justice for her love-struck junior sister, only to be betrayed by her and killed by the Demon Venerable, who wins the beauty.

She helps others, respects her elders, and works herself to the bone for the sect. Yet after her death, no one stands up for her, and no one is even grateful.

The senior sister has it rough. Yu Xi wipes away her tears and stands up.

She says, "Nothing is impossible as long as you have no manners."

"Starting today, I won't yield to my fellow disciples anymore. I won't show any respect to my elders."

"Bully the weak and fear the strong: that's my nature. Going crazy is my normal state. Anyone who makes me miserable will have their whole family suffer for it."

From then on, Yu Xi's world opens up before her.

Her junior brothers and sisters, along with a whole bunch of shameless old elders, treat her like a cat treats a mouse. They couldn't be more polite, all terrified she'll have another episode and stab whoever happens to be nearby.

Blurb 2

Zong Dai is a devoted fan of Yu Xi, a character in a novel.

After transmigrating, he immediately goes to find her, hoping to tell her the truth about the world.

Then he sees the kind and gentle senior sister from the original story kick the junior brother who shouted at her straight into the Ice Pool.

Standing at the edge of the pool and looking down at him, she says with a smile, "Who the hell are you to yell at me?"

"I'm an ill-mannered person, so I like moral paragons like you best."

"Not anymore, though, because now I have no manners either."

Zong Dai is surprised for a moment, then smiles. "I love you even more now."
