[Western Crossover] Sweet and Sour Always Has the Upper Hand

From a bystander's perspective, Sarah Kenway has always been a relatively unimportant, yet incredibly annoying character. Her loyalties are unclear, her moods unpredictable. She has a blend of the cold-hearted capitalist and the arrogant rich kid about her. She casts a shadow over every major event, seeming to be driven by self-interest while caring about nothing at all. In short, she's difficult to manipulate and very good at manipulating others. Based on the usual rules of storytelling, someone like her is likely to be a major villain lurking behind the scenes, only to emerge at the very end and reveal the truth before starting an earth-shattering showdown. As it turns out, those rules were right. =) This world needs heroes and villains, assassins and Templars. ...Maybe it needs Sarah, too? Things to know before reading: 1. The protagonist is an original character, the daughter of the sister of Haytham Kenway, a character from the Assassin's Creed series (complicated, I know). 2. The plot includes AC, DC, and all sorts of other universes. The original plots have been heavily altered, and the timeline is an absolute mess. Many characters who lived hundreds of years ago will appear in the modern day. Apart from the names and settings, this has almost nothing to do with the original works. 3. Told from a Templar perspective! Theme: Beliefs shape the soul.
