A Scientific Account of Raising Cats

The title has been changed. The original title was [A Cat's Gratitude]. Synopsis: What's it like to turn from a human into a cat? Ning Yao says that although she'd sometimes envied kittens, she really only meant it as a passing thought! She can't get enough to eat, and has to drag her tiny, never-growing body through an unfamiliar city, hiding from animal welfare organizations trying to catch her. Her cat eyes, which can see the causes and effects of death, force her to keep wandering. She tries to find somewhere safe to stay. But by chance, she ends up at a police academy with a clean atmosphere, where she is secretly and forcibly adopted. Wait, why do these people look so familiar? As her memories gradually return, the cat says: Even if you used to be her faves, you're not allowed to get too close and snuggle with her! Still... to kick a few troublesome people's spoiled meal boxes, the kitty has no choice but to give up her happy life of delicious food and drink, set out on the path of punishing evil and promoting good, and work to regain her human form. Once her mission is complete, she is absolutely going to become a cat who can doze comfortably in the sunshine and nothing more. The little black cat planned happily. But after she worked so hard to correct the original timeline and planned to enjoy the rest of her life, she discovered there seemed to be a few things trailing behind her tail that she couldn't get rid of...? Tips: 1. A rescue story for the police academy group. 2. An otome wish-fulfillment story. Everyone gets cuddles, the whole group raises a cat, except the class leader. 3. Few cases, mostly everyday life. The plot is light, but it's very, very sweet. 4. Life is hard for a kitten in another world, so she does good deeds to earn food for herself. (Some readers consider that stealing and are a bit strict with the kitty, so if you have high moral standards, you can skip this. A little cat with no owner, wandering everywhere, has a really hard time. Surviving is the number-one priority.) Theme: Good people deserve good things.
