A Demon Slayer fanfic featuring an original character, Mingri Lu. This is a tale of a fleeting life, of death and rebirth, and of self-redemption. Come watch her life unfold.
In 1901, a nine-year-old girl who survived a shipwreck was fished out of the sea by fishermen, then handed over to a child trafficker. On the way to Tokyo, she narrowly escapes a demon's clutches and shamelessly attaches herself to Kobayashi Sosuke, a former member of the Demon Slayer Corps. She takes the new name Mingri Lu and does everything she can to convince Kobayashi to take her as his apprentice.
Who am I? Where did I come from? Where am I going?
To survive, to find her footing in this world, to search for her lost past, and to pursue a sense of belonging that may not even exist, the girl embarks on a turbulent journey through a life of sorrow and joy, where blood and tears intertwine. After experiencing all the grudges and grievances between humans and demons, will she catch a glimpse of a wider world?
The story has three volumes: The Past, The Present, and The Next Life. The Past includes the Master and Disciple Arc and the Lone Journey Arc, both now complete. The Present is currently updating. The author has a day job, so updates are irregular, but I won't abandon the story. I hope you enjoy it. If you do, please leave a comment. It would make me very happy :)
Theme: A story of a life spent surviving and searching for answers amid the storms and darkness of an era
My God, you have such good research, sir. Your description of the demon side in Demon Slayer has always been very online. This is something that other demon slayer novels do not have. I have always felt that if the antagonist in the story is not well described, it cannot highlight the protagonist. So when I saw the ghosts in the fandom being described as vulnerable, I felt that the death of the eldest brother and the deaths of others were ridiculous.
These quintuplets are so. . . . Crocodiles are also girls, don't you think the quintuplets are outrageous [covering face, laughing and crying]
Damn, I read fanfics to find happiness, not to eat new knives [Heartbroken] [Heartbroken] The writing is very good, but I can't stand it anymore [waving hands]
I really cried to death. The author is really amazing. Please keep updating!! Wuwuwu, this is me, my food is really good.
I like this ghost very much, but it does eat people for free (wrong emphasis)
I took a quick look at the chapters of Yoya's story written by the author, and found that the protagonist was not as bright and selfless as what other fans had shown me in the past. I was also shocked when I saw the boss's description of "Why do you call yourself your father?" When I was watching the anime, I felt very strange, with an inexplicable nausea welling up from the bottom of my heart. I even felt disgusted with the character of Ubuyashiki's protagonist. Now I feel like I am working as a psychiatrist and guiding them, both good and bad, in order to achieve my own goals. (I don't know what Jili Gulu said [changed]) But think about it, a family that can survive for a thousand years is still so rich, how can it be possible that there is no way for people to work for the obstetrics and wards. Although it is not appropriate to say that they work for the house, everyone should probably get what they need.
Wow! It's so well written, ma'am, I feel like there's no OOC in the exploration of the inner world of purgatory! Mrs! Who are you! My god! You must write it down, madam! Each small unit of ghost hunting is also well written, each character feels flesh and blood, not a simple NPC, and the storyline is just right. I feel that each carefully described ghost has left a more or less impact on the heroine. It can be seen that the heroine is growing in each reincarnation, from vague goals to purposeful end points. I think the heroine has done a good job, after all, she is just an ordinary girl! I really like the heroine written by my wife! It's my honor to have such a good meal! Mrs! You! It's my God!
It's great to finally look back... Midori, betraying yourself is worse than the whole world betraying you.
I really like this girl. I feel like she hasn't been to Flower Street. She probably has a more unrestrained type of older sister who opens a shop outside.
Oh, what the teacher wrote is so good. Although Midori had a wonderful childhood, I believe she is a strong and brave child who will never indulge in fantasy. She will eventually choose to grow up.
