The Max-Level Expert Reboots 1990

Rong Ting had spent half his life navigating the business world and walking the line between black and white. He died alone.

But when he opened his eyes again, he had returned to 1990, a year full of opportunity, when his record was clean.

He had just turned eighteen, and his younger brother and sister had not yet been sold to traffickers by their gambling-addicted father.

His first love had not yet died young after overworking herself to pay her way through school and triggering an old illness.

The greatest regrets of his previous life had not happened yet. Even buried in debt, he could still start over.

At the time, China's scrap recycling industry was just taking off, growing wildly and without restraint.

But Rong Ting knew that this work, which seemed dirty, exhausting, and low-status, would become a vast blue ocean of opportunity.

From toothpaste tubes, empty liquor bottles, and cement sacks to the largest scrap recycling depot in the area.

From founding his own specialist recycling and processing plant to building the country's first publicly listed group in the renewable resources recycling sector.

He seized the business opportunities he had once missed, braved the waves, and ushered in the industry's golden age with his own hands.

And it all began again in the cicada-filled summer of 1990.
