The System Gets Laid Off and Starts a New Job

[This novel is expected to go premium on December 10. If you've read it already, please don't buy it again! I'll try to wrap it up within a week!]

[Set in a fictional world unrelated to reality. Please don't draw parallels to real life.]

Qi was originally a System. After gaining self-awareness, he decided to quit and experience an ordinary life. Who would have thought he'd be reborn as a male insect?

But since he'd landed here, he decided to make the best of it. With the knowledge he'd accumulated as a System, he could lie flat and enjoy retirement even in a remote star sector!

That was, until he rescued a female insect who fell from the sky, mentally scattered.

At first: (cold expression) Don't freeload at my place.

Later

Fei Liu likes food? I'll improve insect cuisine and develop agriculture for him!

Fei Liu wants to fight his way back to the capital star? I'll upgrade weapons and make plans behind the scenes!

Wait, why did Fei Liu put me on the throne as Insect Emperor?! Didn't he want equality?!

And why do I have so many followers on the Star Network?!

[Gentle top who planned to lie flat but starts doing sit-ups after meeting his beloved x dark, cunning bottom who can switch from sweet to sinister and back, and plays favorites to an extreme]

1. He doesn't seek equality, only to improve the status of female insects.

2. There will be childbirth in the extras. Skip them if that bothers you.

3. Strong leads, sweet and satisfying, light prose, with an identity-reveal plot. The top's brain is his golden finger.

4. Set in a fictional world unrelated to reality. Please don't draw parallels.

5. The author has never been an insect, otherwise I wouldn't be writing this here _(:3"∠)_

6. You've made it this far, so please add it to your collection (^o^)/

Theme: As long as life goes on, keep striving!
