How Am I Supposed to Cut a Mecha with a Bamboo Sword?!

Interstellar military academies.

Outstanding cadets from military academies across the galaxy gather to fight with an array of advanced mechs, striving to restore their school's glory.

The top-ranked commander from Academy A, with maxed-out mental strength, is certain he can lead his teammates to victory.

The 3S-rated mech pilot from Academy B believes his unmatched skills will let him dominate the battlefield.

The genius mech engineer from Academy C thinks equipment is everything, so she builds a brand-new mech.

Who could have guessed that on the battlefield,

they'd all be left stunned after getting hacked up by a handsome young man carrying a bamboo sword?

No... What gives you the right to attack mechs with a bamboo sword?!

Lin Yao thinks it's pretty bizarre too.

How did he, a kid raised in an interstellar slum, dig a bamboo sword out of the ground one day?

How did he find a secret manual in a dry well?

How did he learn that spiritual energy could be converted into mental power, then take first place in the military academy entrance selection that he had no hope of passing?

Got it. I might be a hidden child of destiny!

You Huaiyu, the top commander at Academy E, thinks it's bizarre too.

After failing his tribulation and transmigrating to this world, he has finally met another cultivator for the first time in years.

Thinking Lin Yao was a fellow cultivator from his old sect, he enthusiastically sought him out and offered him his secret cultivation technique. Instead, Lin Yao thought he was a scammer who had sinister intentions toward him.

Lin Yao runs away whenever he sees him.

You Huaiyu calculates that Lin Yao probably lost his memories while transmigrating during his tribulation too.

Poor thing.

To help his pretty junior recover his lost memories, You Huaiyu calls in a favor from his position as head of the school team

He moves into Lin Yao's dorm.

Sweetheart, trust me. You're not getting away.

Stubborn, proud beauty of a junior x shameless, flirtatious big-shot senior
