The image was obviously a joke made by some netizen. From a first-person perspective, a pig truck had overturned with a crash, and pigs were sprawled on the road, kicking their legs in a complete wreck of a scene.

Even better, the truck driver was fat, balding, and shiny with grease, wearing a smile more miserable than a sob.

Fu Jun forwarded the picture to her blind date and wrote, "Sorry, there was an accident. No one was hurt, but I've just finished dealing with everything. I'm afraid I can't make it to the date."

Wild music played in her headphones as she made her way down. But by a glacial lake, she came across a group of glacier trekkers.

Fu Jun would never forget the first time she saw Dou Qi.

The man, cloaked in black winter gear and goggles, walked slowly toward her through the golden dawn light over the frozen landscape. Then, at the moment an avalanche cascaded down in the distance, he held out his hand:

"Miss."

The man's voice was deep and clear.

"I think you need a glacier guide."

They first met on Mount Muztagh Ata, kissed on a glacier bus on the Langg Glacier, and talked through the night on the Hoffs Icefield. Fu Jun asked him, "Why become a glacier guide?"

Dou Qi kissed the corner of her mouth and said, "I'm looking for a lake."

Fu Jun's eyes grew hazy. Smiling faintly, she asked, "Did you find it?"

Dou Qi replied, "I can't find it anymore."

"Miss."

At that, he took Fu Jun's hand and asked with tender affection, in the same tone he'd used when they first met:

"Would you be Mr. Dou's lake?"

"I would."

Only later did Fu Jun realize that Dou Qi was actually her blind date. When her best friend asked if she regretted not meeting him that day, Fu Jun hesitated for once. "A little... just a little."

The man behind her wrapped his arms around her slender waist with his leather winter gloves and asked softly in her ear, "Only a little?"
