After the Divorce, I Joined a Dating Show with the Movie Emperor

Lin Zhiyi is beautiful and spoiled. Everyone in their circle thought his marriage alliance with Gu Zhenhuai was a perfect match. They had grown up together and were practically childhood sweethearts. Lin Zhiyi expected that after marriage, they would at least treat each other with respect, if not be deeply in love.

But barely a month after the wedding, Lin Zhiyi heard from a friend in their circle that Gu Zhenhuai had complained to someone that he was too spoiled and had to be indulged in everything, and that without the marriage alliance between their families, he would never have married him.

Those words drenched all of Lin Zhiyi's enthusiasm like a bucket of cold water. And after seeing Gu Zhenhuai put his arm around a young celebrity on the street, Lin Zhiyi was furious.

Young Master Lin had never put up with this sort of humiliation. If Gu Zhenhuai didn't want to be married to him, then they could just get divorced. The day after the divorce, Lin Zhiyi rediscovered his old dream of pursuing a career in entertainment and signed himself up for a dating reality show.

But it seemed fate was determined to make things difficult for Young Master Lin!

Why had nobody told him?!

His ex's uncle was also on the show, and he'd been assigned as Lin Zhiyi's partner!

Just as the young master was about to pay the penalty and flee, someone grabbed him.

Chen Qinian had just won the Golden Lily Award and was at the height of his fame. Everyone thought he'd capitalize on the momentum and start working on a new drama. Instead, he joined a dating show and became a contract couple with an unknown, barely-known eighteenth-tier celebrity.

Before the show aired, his fans were ready to pounce, declaring that if the unknown celebrity dared to cross the line, they'd teach him how to behave.

But after the show started...

The fans watched their own film emperor try to cuddle up to the unknown celebrity again and again. Fans: Who are you?

After a draw assigned the contract couples, Lin Zhiyi saw Chen Qinian's name on his slip and flew into a helpless rage. Just as he was about to make a run for it, the man blocked him at the doorway once again.

Half of the man's body was hidden in the darkness. He looked at Lin Zhiyi like he was prey, the corner of his thin lips lifting as he spoke in a restrained voice: "Yiyi, do you know how long I've been waiting for you to get divorced?"
