The ordinary shut-in Xingxing opened a romance-raising game.
It had the classic high degree of freedom: choose your starting faction, use a schedule to arrange classes, part-time jobs, and entertainment, raise your stats, and unlock various endings by meeting certain requirements.
As a veteran otome game player, she skipped the introductory instructions and went straight to choosing her target.
"You're the one, black-haired, blue-eyed guy!"
What she didn't expect was that an error occurred while the game was loading. Though it successfully launched after a reset, its code had gotten mixed up with that of another fighting game from the same studio.
The quest log unlocked when she encountered her target: Win a one-on-one fight against [Yuta Okkotsu].
Xingxing: ...?
That was the day she finally realized the game had turned into a fighting game. Due to a bug, she could only defeat her target with the useless stats screen from the romance-raising game. Her only abilities were pausing and reloading.
--The target she'd originally chosen to pursue had become her opponent.
--And she'd actually chosen a Special Grade sorcerer.
Unwilling to give up, Xingxing tried everything and lost ten times in a row. In the end, she begged her boyfriend to surrender so she could win.
1. Original female lead, a local of this world, paired with Yuta Okkotsu. A sequel to Love's Method.
2. Also known as A Misaligned Raising Game. Although it has a game setting, the JJK characters are not NPCs; they are real people. A canon-compliant story with a happy ending.
3. A single universe, with no plotlines or superpowers from other anime.
[The outline isn't written yet; this is just an idea. If it doesn't turn out long, I'll update it as an extra in Love's Method and change this story into something else. If there's a lot I want to write, I'll make this its own story.]
Theme: Love is the strongest power
