Kinose Hikaru was an extraordinarily, extraordinarily, extraordinarily lucky chuuni boy. Out of millions of people, he was struck by a mysterious creature and gained a magical spirit of his very own. Thus began his journey into magic.
Just after starting middle school, little Hikaru got on the wrong train and was led astray by the Kansai Wolf. As a result, they were both late on the very first day of school!
That was how they formed a fateful bond.
When the two hurried to Hyotei, the Kansai Wolf dragged little Hikaru into the tennis club, and they became doubles partners.
An accident revealed his identity as a magical boy to his teammates. From then on, he let loose and did whatever he wanted.
Today, he'd use a little Hikaru-brand Dragon Ball to fool Little Red Riding Hood, telling him he could summon Shenron. Tomorrow, he'd put on an invisibility cloak and pretend to be a ghost to scare Little Ryo, claiming that ghosts really existed. Life couldn't get much happier~
At the Tokyo Metropolitan Tournament, little Hikaru saw Little Bear control the wind to send the tennis ball into his opponent's court. His eyes lit up. "Wow! Fuji, you must be a wind mage, right?!" (I've finally found my people!)
At the Kanto Tournament, little Hikaru watched a certain white-haired fox perform Niou's Illusion, and gripped his racket excitedly. "You must be the Prince of Magic! The kind who can transform!"
At the National Tournament, little Hikaru saw the Child of God use his Muga no Kyouchi to rob an opponent of all five senses for the first time. He turned to the Kansai Wolf and said, "He must be an incredibly powerful psychic mage! I want to be friends with him and trade notes about magic!"
And their own Hyotei captain turned out to be a hidden ice mage! And that stone-faced vice-captain from Rikkai was an all-around mage! They're all so, so, so amazing!
Little Bear / The Trickster / The Child of God / The Dazzling Prince / The Stone Face: We're not! We aren't!
What magic? We're just playing perfectly normal tennis!
Carefree, happy times always fly by. Little Hikaru soon graduated from Hyotei Academy, and just when everyone thought he would move on to the high school division, he turned around and enrolled at a high school called Private PK Academy!
When little Hikaru met Kusuo, he discovered that he wasn't the only one with superpowers in this world! Kusuo was even more powerful than him and saved the world every day! In the end, the world was saved, but
Why did he suddenly have such a grown-up brother?!
He was sure his mom was an only child...
Before he could spend any time getting along with Rei, Rei suddenly disappeared!
Where's my brother? Where did he go?
Little Hikaru: Kusuo, did you make my brother disappear?!
Kusuo: It wasn't me. I didn't.
To find his brother, he took out a mirror. "Mirror, mirror, tell me where my brother went."
Looking at the golden dot on the navigation map in the mirror, Kinose Hikaru pondered for a moment. Then he pulled out his invisibility suit, deciding to follow his brother.
And then he discovered that his brother seemed to have gone undercover! Yikes~ That job is really dangerous!
"Brother, don't die, " Little Hikaru immediately rummaged through his magic pouch and handed his brother a white mask. "Bro! Put on this shape-shifting mask I just invented! Your face is way too recognizable. You'll get spotted easily!"
