If We Fell in Love Again (Reborn)

This is a bloodbath caused by a bench, a reborn story set in high school, when the protagonist is 16. Who says life is always better after being reborn? What a joke. All in all, it's a story with a bit of rambling at the beginning, a little heartache in the middle, and a somewhat happy ending. Well, it's a story written on a whim. But every so often, I still wonder: if life really could unfold like a novel, what kind of ending would we write for ourselves? My friend liked to sit alone on the cold steps. My friend said she was lazy, too lazy to fall in love or date again. So I suppose she'll keep loving someone on her own. I can't understand her, but seeing her like this makes my heart ache for her. I don't think I'll ever understand how she could hold on to half a year of feelings from her first year of high school for so many years. What she regretted was that when the boy made all those promises, she never once answered him. Then one day, when he was finally able to calmly tell her that what they had was not love, she buried her face against me and burst into tears. I'm a storyteller, but I've never believed in love that lasts forever. For the first time, I found myself hoping that my friend's prince would show up soon. This time, I want to write a story for her, one that at least gives her a perfect ending, in memory of the youth that has become the past.
