Undine entered the Wizarding World after the first Dark Lord retired, and graduated before the second Dark Lord rose to power.
Then, in 1969, Undine, a graduate of Ilvermorny, received an invitation from Headmaster Dumbledore to join the staff at Hogwarts.
For now, she's only an assistant teacher. Considering that there are hardly any safe places left in the world, and that she can't stay in the United States for personal reasons, Undine gladly accepts.
She decides she'll just have a look around and observe all the gossip from the Marauders' era.

Extremely out of character, Marauders' era + Snape makes the first move (I'm going absolutely wild with this).
