Synopsis:
Yu Shuyan accidentally transmigrates to 1983 and becomes the child who was deliberately switched at birth. After pulling himself together, he returns to the village, only to find that the other child who was switched has left, leaving him with an engagement.
Getting an engagement for free sounds pretty good... except the other party is a girl, and he’s a man! The eighties are this open-minded? Men have to marry, too?!
Yu Shuyan watches in speechless disbelief as Lu Chi demands a person from the Yu family with a face cold as ice, then arrogantly and openly throws a wedding banquet to marry him. Yu Shuyan assumes Lu Chi was the one who got cheated, and is taking revenge by making the Yu family, who are marrying off their son, lose all face.
But... as he watches the man approach, Yu Shuyan can’t help swallowing, stunned. This guy... seems to be serious!
Lu Chi, the landlord’s wolf cub, has always been a shameless troublemaker. In 1978, when reform and opening up began, his parents finally had their labels removed. They barely enjoyed a few years of peace before they passed away one after another.
When he reached marriageable age, his mother arranged a match for him before she died. Later, thinking the engagement was off, Lu Chi remained cold and unmoved. He planned to go to the Yu family to settle the debt between them once and for all, but instead he saw a young master so dazzlingly fair that he was instantly captivated.
Dark currents stirred in the man’s eyes. He no longer wanted money. He wanted the man.
