After coming back from the dead, Liu Yin learns that she is the heroine of a tragic xianxia romance.

According to the original plot, she is a noble princess of the immortal realm, yet becomes entangled with the lowborn hero, Qi Xingchuan. She even gives up her throne for him, only to end up abandoned by everyone and scattered into nothingness. Hundreds of years later, the powerful Emperor Qi Xingchuan looks back and realizes he has lost the most important person in his life. He does everything he can to bring her back, pining after her for thousands of years until he finally wins her heart.

Liu "the ultimate sucker" "the victim" Yin: ... Whoever wants to be that love-struck fool can have the job. I'm out!

Liu Yin comes back to life hundreds of years later, just as Qi Xingchuan is consumed with regret and going to great lengths to search for her scattered soul.

She awakens in a remote mountain village. As it happens, a cultivation sect is recruiting there, so despite her exhausted state, she resolutely joins the line to apply.

This time, her fate is in her own hands.

The first time Qi Xingchuan saw Liu Yin, she sat high among the clouds, radiant and beyond compare: dazzling, guileless, and easy to deceive.

When he finally saw her again, she held a long sword in her hand, drenched in blood as she fought her way toward him, step by step.

In the end, she forged her own path to the heavens.
