Actor Ning Zhi transmigrates into a book written about him by a hater. He becomes the unreachable white moonlight secretly cherished by the villain, as well as a tool used by the protagonist to push the villain step by step into the abyss.

The protagonist, Jing Shen, is the chosen one selected by the System, gentle and refined, an undeniable heartthrob. Behind closed doors, however, he's tyrannical and violent, stopping at nothing to take everything from the villain.

The villain, Xie Ting, is a lawless rich second-generation heir who fights the protagonist until he has nothing left. Despairing and disillusioned, he drags his white moonlight into the river, and they both die.

After considering the protagonist's ruthlessness and the villain's extreme love, Ning Zhi wisely decides to keep his distance from them both and focus on staying alive.

Then one day, the villain is reborn.

They still spend a sleepless night.

Ning Zhi, struggling to stay awake, walks the villain through four physics practice exams. When he finally can't hold on any longer and falls asleep, Xie Ting gently kisses his brow. Nothing more.
