Fake Crown Prince vs. Fake Eunuch
When Wei Zhou transmigrates into a book and learns that, as the most honored crown prince in the land, he has been locked up in the Eastern Palace by a dead eunuch, he considers it a tremendous humiliation. He has to take that eunuch down and make an example of him.
In reality, the fact that the other man has not taken him down already means he is being very considerate.
Bound to a Villain Reform System, Wei Zhou must turn the ultimate villain, a treacherous chief eunuch, back to the right path before the story reaches the point where he dies. He thinks it over: since he is going to die either way, he might as well give up and do nothing.
The System tries to reason with him, but Wei Zhou finds it annoying. Just as he is thinking of ending things early, he catches sight of the treacherous chief eunuch he is supposed to reform. His eyes light up, and he decides that maybe this task is doable after all.
Later, Wei Zhou, a happy-go-lucky couch potato, has to drink bitter Chinese medicine every day. He immediately decides he does not want to live anymore.
Looking at the eunuch helping review memorials, he lets out a long sigh. "You can be crown prince instead."
The other man: "???"
Who does he think he has been working so hard to review those memorials for?
Who does he think he has been tirelessly rooting out the rebel faction for?
So how could Wei Zhou possibly say something like that?
