The gong is a muscular, dark-skinned man with a rough personality. He transmigrates after stepping in to help someone, and when he comes out of the water, he happens upon the shou washing clothes.
The shou is a famous older brother among the villages for miles around. He's taller than most men, and by the age of eighteen, no one would marry him. His father despises him, and his stepmother torments him. Years of numb resignation have made him brave enough to take his own life. Just as he's about to drown himself, a man like a wall bursts out of the water.
Dark-skinned, taciturn, rough man x timid, obedient older brother
