I Was My Nemesis's White Moonlight Substitute for Five Hundred Years

Su Xuezhao, princess of the human realm, fell in love with Xuan Mu, the Kunlun Sect's leader, at first sight. For five hundred years, she willingly served as his substitute for the woman he cherished. When the immortal and mortal realms were joined in marriage, Su Xuezhao devoted herself to pleasing Xuan Mu. She treated his stepson, who was no blood relation of hers, as her own. Everyone said Su Xuezhao was far better than the woman Xuan Mu had once loved. When that woman destroyed nearly all of Xuan Mu's cultivation, Su Xuezhao would search the entire mountain for medicinal herbs if he so much as got a tiny scrape. When she caused Xuan Mu to be cast down from his position as a deity, Su Xuezhao went all over the cultivation world, humbling herself and begging for a pill that could restore his powers. Despite all this, Xuan Mu remained cold toward her. Even the stepson she'd poured her heart into pleasing said arrogantly to others, "So what if she's nice? She can't hold a candle to my real mother!" Five hundred years later, Su Xuezhao killed the woman Xuan Mu had loved, right in front of him. Everyone lamented that after so many years as a substitute, Su Xuezhao had finally gone mad. They all waited for the sect leader to punish her for killing his beloved. But Xuan Mu only said softly, "How amusing, stabbing your own original self. Isn't it, Susu?" Everyone was stunned. Susu was the name of the woman Xuan Mu had loved. The wicked Dao companion who had nearly killed him five hundred years ago. Su Xuezhao looked at him, smiling through the blood. With a slight turn of her sword, she drove it through Xuan Mu's chest. For five hundred years, Su Xuezhao had schemed to pass herself off as her own substitute, all so she could kill him with her own hands one more time. She laughed until she trembled, expecting to savor Xuan Mu's shock, helplessness, and pain... But he staggered twice, then fell to his knees before her. He pressed closer to the bloodied sword in his chest and kissed the corner of her lips, as if he felt no pain. Bonus scene: A Qiang was the son of Su Xuezhao and Xuan Mu. He had always been proud that his mother was the revered Su Fa of the divine realm, and looked down on the mortal Su Xuezhao. One day, five hundred years later, A Qiang could take it no longer and asked his father, "Don't you think my name sounds awful?" Xuan Mu calmly nodded. "I do." A Qiang was furious, but Xuan Mu continued, "That's why I changed it for you." "Your old name was Da Qiang." "Your mother, the revered Su Fa, chose it herself." "Do you still want her to come back?" A Qiang: ... Su Xuezhao was beside them, munching on a sweet potato and laughing so hard she shook. Theme: Power belongs to the people
