[The King's Avatar] I'll Become a Top-Tier Star in the World of The King's Avatar!

Shuang Man wanted to become the hottest top-tier star.

A perfect idol had perfect looks, voice, and aura, as well as a perfect smile.

A perfect idol could sing, dance, rap, and play an instrument, and didn't date anyone.

Shuang Man was brimming with confidence. She was sure she'd become a sensation the moment she debuted, an instant top-tier star!

But then

Zhou Zekai, Su Mucheng, are you two for real?!

Sorry, we've chosen Zhou Zekai to endorse McDonald's.

Shuang Man: Why?!

Because you can't snipe with a gun (and shoot straight into your heart.jpg).

Shuang Man: Gets mad as a pufferfish.

Sorry, we want Su Mucheng for the female lead in our commercial.

Shuang Man: Why? Is she prettier than me? Wait, she is just as pretty as me... But can she act? Can she do a 360-degree backflip and then pull off a difficult split?

No, she can't.

Shuang Man: Then why not choose me?!

Because you can't play Glory :)

After twenty years of life, Shuang Man finally understood: the world of The King's Avatar was just that dull and simple...

Stay strong.

Recorded on December 3, 2022, in celebration of Glory's tenth anniversary.

[Reader's Guide]:

1. I love fanfiction. Because of my day job and the ongoing story I'm writing next door, updates will be slow.

2. I started writing on a whim and have no outline. I read the original years ago, so please point out any plot holes in the comments. If I can fix them, I will; otherwise, consider them personal headcanon.

3. A self-indulgent, Mary Sue story for fans of the whole cast (meaning I'm a fan of everyone in The King's Avatar, and everyone in The King's Avatar is a fan of Shuang Man, hahaha).

Theme: I'm the leading lady of my own life!
