In 2024, an unknown plague broke out at survivor bases around the world. There was no cure for those infected, and large numbers of ability users died in quick succession.
A small survivor team in southern China received a distress signal from the capital base and set out together to help. Just after reaching the capital, they were ambushed and all died beneath the city gates. The captain, with only one breath left, struggled to keep his eyes open so he could see the killer's face.
After being reborn, Zhong Aijia went looking for her former teammates, only to discover that the entire team had been reborn with their abilities. And somehow, even the damned apocalypse had changed...
