A Fleeting Scene

It all began at a banquet. Somehow, someone set their sights on Shuang Hanxiao. They wanted her dead, and they also took control of her older sister, making her commit one terrible deed after another until the world came to despise her. Later, Shuang Hanxiao discovered what the mastermind had been doing. But she was only a butterfly spirit in human form, so she had to find someone else to help.

Later, Shuang Hanxiao met Sui Mujing, who didn't know she was a spirit in human form. But the mastermind also intended to target Sui Mujing, who had no cultivation. So she agreed to help Shuang Hanxiao and gain cultivation in order to fight the mastermind.

Once, Sui Mujing entered an illusion and met a spirit rat in human form. The rat, Lu Jiu, said he could help her, but Sui Mujing didn't pay much attention and simply left the illusion without doing anything. Later, Sui Mujing happened to meet Lu Jiu again. He said he'd found the person who could help them. So Sui Mujing agreed to let Lu Jiu help, and together they eventually defeated the mastermind.

But later, the mastermind came after them again. After many twists and turns, they finally managed to get rid of it, though there were still regrets.

This can be read as a friendship story. If you want a romance between women, the pairing is Xiao-Mu. The characters don't represent the author! If there's a character you dislike, feel free to criticize them, but don't insult the author.

My writing is awful. The main focus is fighting the mastermind, and I won't write much else.
