Making Money Is What Matters Most! [Livestream]

Talent is emerging in every field, and a new show takes the world by storm.

All In: The Whole Cast Is Competing invites six men and women who are strikingly good-looking and exceptionally talented.

An award-winning actor who has swept the Golden Lock Awards,

A sweetheart idol who shot to fame with a dance on New Year's Eve,

A renowned host with a spotless reputation after ten years in the business,

A young CEO millions of girls want to marry,

The undefeated king of esports, ADC + Twenty-Four...

But no one expected the first person to make this livestreaming show go viral beyond its usual audience to be the seemingly ordinary working girl among them, Xu Zhen.

Before the livestream officially begins, the production team sends the renowned host to each guest's home to livestream them packing, with a few interview questions thrown in. No one expected Wang Jie, whose reputation had been spotless for ten years, to suffer the biggest career mishap of her life.

First came the esports young master, who would rather shake his head than speak, and would rather hold back a single word than say a whole sentence.

Then came Xu Zhen.

"May I ask why you joined our show, All In: The Whole Cast Is Competing?"

"Oh, they offered me too much money."

"Uh... haha, that's funny. So what are you looking forward to on the journey ahead?"

"I hope I can go viral as soon as possible."

Wang Jie thought that was the most dramatic moment this variety livestream could offer, until Xu Zhen added, "They promised to pay me even more."

...And that was the end of the interview.

When filming officially began, Xu Zhen naturally faced plenty of criticism.

Some netizens: What's someone who's only in it for the money doing on this show? Everyone else is so outstanding. What's so special about her???

There were people defending her, but there was no shortage of supporters either.

Later, it came out that Xu Zhen had graduated from the finance department of A University and had once earned a direct-entry PhD offer from the school.

Some netizens: What's so great about A University? My TF and President Jiang graduated from there too.

An insider continued with more revelations: She now works at the nation's top venture capital firm, Rongmu Group, as a deputy general manager. She's the group's only woman in a mid-to-senior leadership role.

Some netizens: What's so special about being deputy general manager? Our President Jiang is a CEO!

A sensible netizen: Seriously, comparing Gexing with Rongmu is like claiming to have walked on the moon after jumping off a curb.

Then the big names started posting on Weibo.

@Gexing Entertainment - Jiang Huaimian: Everyone, settle down. We have a big sponsor too, you know. @Rongmu Group

Netizens: I didn't know there was a connection like this.

@Rongmu Group - Jiang Luo: Our deputy general manager is beautiful and outstanding. She really did work her way up, step by step. Luck played a part, of course, but her ability was the main reason. Don't envy her or resent her. Just work hard, everyone.

Netizens: Even the boss of Rongmu has spoken up. Xu Zhen is no ordinary person!

@UDSV_Twenty-Four Jiang Ge: She's the best because she works the hardest. @No. 24 Xu Zhenzhen

Netizens were baffled: Hey, man, what does this have to do with you??

Two days later, Xu Zhen replied: Thank you! Everyone should work hard to make money! @UDSV_Twenty-Four Jiang Ge

Netizens: !!!

Netizens: There's definitely something going on between you two!!!

And so, before the show was even over, it successfully transformed from an uplifting workplace variety show into a massive livestreamed dating show.

Oh, I forgot to mention.

The four of them used to have these Weibo names:

@No. 21 Jiang Ge

@No. 22 Jiang Huaimian

@No. 23 Jiang Luo

Only Xu Zhen never changed hers: @No. 24 Xu Zhenzhen

The only girlish touch she had kept.

Chromium has atomic number 24 and is the hardest metal found in nature.

Gentle, pampered young master x hardworking, sweet young lady

The family storyline is heartbreaking.

Thankfully, both the friendships and romance have happy endings.
