That year, Earth's environment changed drastically, and poisonous fog spread everywhere.
Overnight, plants withered and animals died.
The oxygen humans relied on to survive became the deadliest weapon of all.
The surface became a living hell, forcing the remaining humans to descend underground to survive.
Decades later, Gu Yu, a gatherer, came to the surface and unexpectedly encountered a strange young girl searching for her mother.
In the thick fog, he saw creatures beyond his understanding.
In the gale, every living thing turned to blood mist in an instant.
It turned out that new rulers had long since taken over the surface.
During the decades that humanity had been gone, Earth had been reborn.
